Visiting from the USA
Private Wine Tour
Friday, 17th February 2017
This group of friends from the USA were taken on a wine tour by one of their ex-pat friends that has now made Australia home. So it was the first time for three of them to visit the beautiful Mornington Peninsula wine region and all four of their first time visiting the wineries that had been specially chosen for them. Due to the overcast morning weather, they were also lucky enough to see some of the local kangaroos that were lazing about in the vines at our first winery stop of the day.
*We even had an impromptu visit to see Beyonce (the mural) in Collingwood as we left Melbourne CBD on the way down to the Mornington Peninsula. Yes – there is a photon the album beneath.
Some of the amazing venues we visited on the wine tour were:
Yabby Lake winery in Tuerong for wine tasting
Trofeo Estate for a wine tasting of the unique ‘terracotta wine’.
Barn & Co for wine tasting and gourmet lunch
Panton Vineyard for an intimate wine tasting
Main Ridge Dairy for a visit to see the adorable goats and for a delicious cheese tasting.
