Mornington Peninsula Wine Tour – 70th Birthday Celebration
Private Wine Tour
Sunday, 7th May 2017
To help celebrate his brother’s 70th Birthday, Terry arranged for a private wine tour of the Mornington Peninsula. The four of them started their Mornington Peninsula winery tour in Tuerong where a tasting began with some sparkling wine to help celebrate the special occasion. From their they visited some nearby wineries in Balnarring and Merricks North along with a nice long lunch stop to help reenergise before heading into the Dromana for a final wine tasting.
Some of the beautiful wineries visited were:
Yabby Lake Vineyard for a cellar door visit and wine tasting
Quealy Winemakers for a cellar door visit and wine tasting (and koala spotting)
Barn & Co for wine tasting and gourmet lunch
Rare Hare (Home of Willow Creek Wines) for an barrel room wine tasting – hosted by David Reyne
Trofeo Estate for a cellar door tasting of the unique terracotta wines.
