Private Wine Tour
Friday, 12th May 2017
This group of friends from Western Australia decided to go on a winery tour of the Mornington Peninsula on their spare day off before heading to some AFL games. Starting in Red Hill South with a cellar door visit we into Merricks North for more wine tasting as well as an amazing lunch. From there we headed back into Red Hil, finishing off with some craft beer tasting paddles followed by a sunset view from the lookout at Arthurs Seat, one of the best places on the Mornington Peninsula to view Port Phillip Bay and surrounds.
Some of the beautiful wineries visited were:
Port Phillip Estate for a cellar door wine tasting and amazing views
Rare Hare (Home of Willow Creek Wines) for a delicous lunch and barrel room wine tasting – hosted by David Reyne
Mock Red Hill for a cider tasting.
Red Hill Brewery for a craft beer paddle tasting.
