Thursday, 9th November 2017
This group took advantage of the sunny weather post Melbourne Cup and decided to go on a wine tour of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Starting in Tuerong with a cellar door visit we then moved on to Balnarring, Merricks North and then finished the winery tour in Main Ridge where the group enjoyed a nice relaxing glass of wine and some cheese platters to complete their amazing day exploring the Mornington Peninsula wine region.
Some of the beautiful venues visited were:
Yabby Lake Winery in Tuerong for a cellar door visit and wine tasting
Barn & Co for wine tasting and gourmet lunch
Rare Hare (Home of Willow Creek Wines) for a delicous lunch and barrel room wine tasting
Quealy Winemakers for an cellar door wine tasting
Main Ridge Dairy to see the goats and to try the delicious cheeses.
