Taking Danish friends on a tour of the Yarra Valley wine region

Private Wine Tour

A couple decided to take two of their friends from Denmark on a private wine tour of the Yarra Valley. Starting in Coldstream with with some sparkling wines from Chandon we then headed off to Dixons Creek for a wine tasting and an amazing lunch. After lunch we made our way into Yarra Glen to visit the the site where Victorias first vines were planted – Yering Station. The last winery stop was visiting Punt Road in Coldstream which was then topped off with some beer and ciders at the nearby Napoleone Brewery and Cider House.

Domaine Chandon for a cellar door visit and sparkling wine tasting in the riddling hall

De Bortoli for a cellar door visit followed by lunch

Yering Station  for a cellar door visit and wine tasting

Punt Road Wines for a cellar door wine tasting

Napoleon Brewery and Cider House for some refreshing beers and cider
