Uk friends on a winery tour of the Mornington Peninsula

When you have friends visiting from the UK, what better thing to do than go on a winery tour of the Mornington Peninsula. Starting in Teurong with a cellar door visit we then moved on to Balnarring, Dromana and then finishing the winery tour in Red Hill to complete their amazing day exploring the Mornington Peninsula wine region.

Yabby Lake Winery in Tuerong for a cellar door visit and wine tasting
Barn & Co for wine tasting and gourmet lunch
Crittenden Estate in Dromana for a cellar door visit and wine flight tasting
Polperro for a premium cellar door wine tasting
I couldn't recommend a tour of the Mornington Peninsula with Elevate more highly! My fiancée and I were hosting some friends from the UK and we were keen to introduce them to the Mornington Peninsula and some of it's fantastic wineries. Ric, the owner of Elevate, and our host for the day was the perfect man for the job.Our whole party of six found Ric to be an extremely friendly and an easy going character. Ric's easy going nature and exceptional knowledge of the Peninsula and it's wineries allowed him to tailor the day to suit our specific desires. My fiancée and I were keen for our guests to witness Arthur's Seat to experience the views across Port Phillip Bay and to visit the Crittendon Estate, which we'd come to love from a previous visit, Ric was more than happy to accommodate both of these requests and even knew the perfect spot to stop on our way down Arthur's seat for the best views. Further to these requests our guests were also keen to see Kangaroos in the wild, which Ric also managed without fuss. Ric also asked if there were any particular wines we were keen to sample on our day to inform his choice of wineries for us, however we didn't have any, so Ric picked a couple of his preferred wineries in Yabby Lake and Polperro for us to visit. Yabby Lake and Polperro, were both fantastic, however Crittenden remains our favourite due to it's wide selection of fantastic wines and exceptional customer service. We also had a fantastic wine tasting come lunch at Barn and co. Ric clearly had a great relationship with all our stops over the course of the day and contributed to some of the explanations of the wines through the day, due to his great knowledge of the wines of the peninsula and friendly nature.
The spacious and immaculately clean minibus was extremely well equipped with a fridge, charging points and cables, cold water and was safely driven all day.
